Wisteria Cornstalk's Merchant Area will be arranged into three areas:

Green Merchants, Fantasy/Magical, and Artists.

Green Merchants will be focused on environmental items, causes and eco-education.  The Fantasy/Magical will provide items that reach out to the magical side of everyone.  The Artist area will be the place that artists can display their work and demonstrate their artistic methods. To pull it all together, there will be a Gallery Hop and wine-tasting Saturday afternoon.

FAQs

1. I want to merchant at Wisteria Cornstalk, what do I have to do?

First you will need to register for Wisteria Cornstalk, once you have done this you then can register to merchant. There will be a link on the Registration site or you can go to the Merchant page, www.wisteria.org/merchant.htm and select the size site you need and identify which one of the three areas you would like to have your merchant site located and pay your merchant fee. You will also need to provide your contact information, business name and a short description of the items you will be selling.  You must be registered for the festival in order to be a merchant at Wisteria Cornstalk.

2. Will there be a merchant site for me?

The number of sites will be limited. Costs range from $50 for a 15x30, $75 for a 30x30 and $100 for a 50x30.  They are available on a first-come basis.  The Merchant Coordinator will assign the sites.

3. Will someone tell me if I receive a merchant site?

The Merchant Coordinator, Pam, will contact you once your Wisteria Cornstalk registration is verified and your merchant fee has been paid.

4. Where will I be located in the campground?

Merchant sites will be located in a circular village area across from Caffiena's in the middle of it all.

5. Can I pick my site?

Sorry but no, site assignments will be made by the Merchant Coordinator.

6. Can I camp at my merchant site?

The size of the merchant sites allow for merchants to camp in that space. You are free to camp in other areas of the campground if you like. If you plan to camp in an RV (self-contained only), you may not have enough room in your merchant space and may need to camp in the designated RV camping.

7. What about my car?

There will be a parking area located past the RV camping. If you need to have your vehicle at your merchant site it will have to fit in your assigned site. If you are not using it for camping, vending, or storage, it is recommended that you park in the parking area.

8. Who do I go to if I need assistance?

Pam is Merchant Coordinator. She can be reached at pam@wisteria.org. During Cornstalk she can be found at the Wisteria Market or Wisteria Office next to Caffiena's.  A member of Cornstalk staff can reach Pam for concerns or questions.

9.  Can I advertise to attract customers?

Word-of-mouth is a great form of advertising.  Thank you! We may also have some literature you can take to other shows, contact  pam@wisteria.org. Please have your friends, supporters and happy customers spread the word. Participate in the discussion on the Wisteria Friends e-group in advance of the festival to see if there are particular things folks are looking for.

To join email info@wisteria.org and state that you want to join the e-group. Write a great listing describing what you will have to sell.

10. Are there items that I cannot sell?

You cannot sell food products, beverages, alcoholic beverages (unless approved by the Merchant Coordinator), firearms, and any other items that are prohibited by local, state, or federal laws.
