Wisteria Sacred Sites Area We have dedicated just under 3 acres on the Eastern end of the camp as our Sacred Sites area. Presently, there are two Earthworks -- a Turtle Mound (upper right) and the Ancestor Mound (upper left) built by the community and visitors. The largest feature is a 125-foot (38.1 meter) diameter stone circle marked with quarter stone structures. Community workings build and improve this area with purposeful intent. A sweatlodge in the forest is tucked into a nearby hillside. A shady grove of locust trees near some bluffs is a perfect meditation space. Recently, a community art installation entitled "The Community Fire" was created by community and guests. This is a no-camping open area that can hold many hundreds of people for dancing, weddings, ceremonies or any activity that needs some open space.
