Homecoming: 20 years of Wisteria
Moving Forward, Looking Back
; open camping May 26
Join us as we celebrate Wisteria's 20th anniversary! This year, we're turning our Memorial Day work weekend into a full-blown festival to celebrate our history and show our gratitude to our community. In keeping with the theme, there will be a dance and a bonfire, so bring your homecoming garb and have your photo taken at the booth in your festival finest. Who will be crowned King and Queen? We may even play a game or two.
During the day, we will have a talk on the History of Wisteria from one of our founding members, and “What is a Wisterian?” round table discussions. If you've ever wondered about who has been here the longest, how people found Wisteria, this is your chance to hear stories and share your own. There will also be guided hikes with knowledgeable botanists and herbalists. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Wisteria in the spring. Come home and share your memories and ideas!
As with our other festivals we will have a limited number of volunteer slots, subject to approval. In addition to free admission, volunteers get additional benefits, and the opportunity to join a great team and make the magic happen! Apply to become a volunteer here
. Be sure apply soon, as the deadline for Homecoming volunteer applications is May 1st, 2016
The preregistration price is $65, or $35 for kids 3-12. You can also show up at the gate and pay for the days you attend (gate prices slightly higher).
