Summer Solstice returns to Wisteria this year with the best of old traditions and new. Here comes the sun, the smiles returning to faces. Celebrate the season and 30 years of Wisteria with good food, entertainment and music, presentations and workshops, seasonal celebrations, nightly fires, vendors, friends, and fun.

The Fool’s Journey follows a wandering soul through the unfolding of a ten-card tarot spread, where each draw shapes their path and tests their spirit. Tasked with carrying a fragile flame, The Fool moves through moments of wonder, connection, temptation, and risk as they meet the other characters of the tarot deck.
Blending trapeze, lyra, partner acrobatics, and fire performance, this show is a living ritual of movement and meaning. A little chaotic, a little tender, and lit from within, it invites you to see yourself in The Fool.

The Ohio Canids Center is returning this year!
Rachel Robertson, director of the Ohio Canids Center in Licking County Ohio will be doing a presentation at Summer Solstice. This all ages event includes an ambassador animal (fox, wolf, coyote) and a slide show. A table will be set up with belts, bones, and pawprint castings for people to handle and learn from.

Hailing from the shadowy forests of Ohio, the haunting hymns of OSI AND THE JUPITER dwell amongst the echoes of old songs. Sean Kratz offers his talent in honor to pagan traditions and in worshipful tribute to the peaceful finality of death. From its birth in 2015, the focus of the project has been on the spiritual connection between nature and the will of the old Gods. To this day, the project has already released five full-length-albums, the last of which was „Cedar and Sage“ in 2023. Many listeners already follow multi-instrumentalist Sean Kratz, who has contributed two songs to the successful „Vikings“-series and has millions of music-streams to boast, on his spiritual journey.

In a digital age that encourages and rewards more of the same, Avowal vows to be different. Channeling influence from early punk, thrash, death, and dark/black metal, brash intensity is prioritized in Elyse’s songwriting style. Lyrical themes around powerful goddesses, witchcraft, and divination are fused with observations of modern times and personal experiences. Avowal is a frank acknowledgment, an affirmation of the truth of what you believe. Out of step, defiance.

Colin blends lyrics and poems with melodies pulled from the ether to create spellbinding songs. The natural flow of the songwriting process makes room for different genres to blend together. With contributions from other musicians it culminates into an energetic and heartwarming experience to behold!

Lin Sanders fronted, played guitar, and sang in a number of bands during her musical career. She has sang and performed as a Stevie Nicks impersonator; sang hard rock and metal in a cover band; and played and sang original music in the band she is most noted for, the dynamic all girl pagan band, Burning Sage.
Lin left band life during the Covid lockdowns to work from her homestead and spend time in her gardens. Ever the Creatrix, Lin is still creating music in betwixt canning tomatoes, growing vegetables, and crafting an array of homestead products.
Her music is like her life, ever influenced by the nature spirits and beings that make up the world around her. Gemini the communicator, while not so much in conversation, works her magic through songwriting in expressive and emotional terms, drawing from social issues, relationships, and her spiritual practice.

IPMA (International Pagan Music Awards) Best Male Artist winner in 2019, 2020 and again in 2024, Brian Henke composes and performs his music like a painter putting images on canvas, a kind of sonic shaman, drawing his inspiration from the world around him.

No-camp day passes are available for locals! $20 age 13+, $10 age 3-12, buy at the gate. You must live in Meigs, Athens, or adjacent county, bring no camping gear with you, and leave the same day.
We are unfortunately unable to give refunds on tickets for any reason.
Summer Solstice work barter volunteers get free admission and meals beginning the day before the event, free wifi for one device, and free admission and meals for one child under 14, in exchange for 4-6 hour shifts daily. Meals include dinner at the work barter orientation meeting the day before the event, lunch and dinner Thursday through Saturday, and Sunday brunch. Youths age 14-17 are encouraged to apply for work barter, and we can place them in positions with reduced hours.
